Peacefully at Southland Hospital on Friday 13 June 2025. Dearly loved husband of Denise. Loved son of Giacomo* and Maria*, loved brother of Guido, and Donata and Stefano Barei. Loved son-in-law of Frank* and Mary* McGearty, loved brother-in-law of the McGearty, and Trower families, a much loved uncle. A service to celebrate Mario’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street Invercargill on Wednesday 18 June at 1.00pm, private interment to follow.
