Passed away peacefully at Southland Hospital on Friday 29 May 2026, with his family by his side. Loved son of Reina Whaitiri and Koro Tait*. Loved Father of Te Wera, Hohepa, and Tahu. Loved Grandfather of Jystize. Beloved Grandson of Ida May* and Robert* Whaitiri. A service to celebrate Paitu’s life will be held in the Southland Crematorium Chapel, Rockdale Road, Invercargill on Thursday 4th June at 11.00am.
