ROONEY, Denis Philip (Mick):

Peacefully at Southland Hospital on Tuesday, 8 July 2025, aged 88 years.  Dearly loved husband of the late Gloria. Loved father and father-in-law of Tony & Karla, Tracey, Karen & Phil Forde, Phil & Camille, Lyn & Robbie Bell, and Chris & Teneka.  Dearly loved grandad and great grandad of all his grand and great grandchildren.   Loved brother and brother-in-law of Ted* & Margaret Rooney, Margaret* & Rupert*  Hyland, Marion* & Ted* Maloney, Philip* & Bernie Rooney, and Kathleen & Jim* Buckham, and brother-in-law of Albie Sands, Ivan* Sands, Ernie Sands, Elizabeth, Wayne & Lynette Sands. Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. The family wish to thank Medical Ward staff for their care of Mick.
