In accordance with his dreams and wishes, Stewart died peacefully at home in Colac Bay on Saturday 21 June 2025. Loved and cherished husband of Thelma Margaret Dawson*. Dad of Edwina (Christchurch), Reg and Dianne (Wyndham), Lindsay and Wendy (Kaiwera), Margaret and Michael (Otautau), Joe and Nancee (Riverton), Gerard and Sharilyn (Gummies Bush). A much loved Grandad and Pop of 16 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. Loved and respected bush mate, Life member of NZ Axemen Association and Orepuki Bowls Club. A staunch and loyal supporter of Colac Bay its people and community. A service for Dad will be held in the Colac Bay Hall, Colac Bay on Thursday 26 June at 1.30pm. Private cremation will follow.
