Tragically passed away from a motorcycle accident on 8th August 2025, in Montana, USA, aged 72 years.  Beloved husband of Kathy and loved stepdad of Paul* and Gesina, cherish Pop of Abigail, Maia, Zoey, and Jessie.  Loved brother of Megan, Gay, and Wayne.  Great brother-in-law of Judy*, Shona, and Sue and their partners.  A fond uncle of all his nieces and nephews.  A good mate to his many friends.  A memorial service to celebrate Les’ life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Saturday, 30th August at 2:00pm.  If you wish to view the service via livestream, please go to the Avenal Park website, obituaries page and click the link on Les’ page.  Messages to Sutherland Family, C/- PO Box 1345, Invercargill 9840
