Peacefully in the respectful care of Hawthorndale Care Village, with Jenny his loving wife of 64 years by his side, aged 87 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Chris and Bonnie, Tony and Julie, Melissa and Pete*. Loved granddad of Taylor and Aleisha, Nina and Ellis, Beth and Jacob, Brad and Kim, Lauren and Craig, and Emma. A loved great granddad of Olly, Ellie, Ashton, Raiden and a special great granddad of Kylo. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Ngaire and David (Melbourne), Geoff and Adrianne (Nelson), Judy and Ross* (Christchurch), and Neroli* and their families. The family would like to thank his special girls at Hawthorndale Care Village for their care of Bruce. In accordance with the family’s wishes no flowers at the service please. A celebration of Bruce’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Wednesday 26th November at 1.00pm.
