WILLIAMS, Peter Francis Bell:

Peacefully on Saturday 30 August 2025 at Southland Hospice, aged 81 years, surrounded by his loving wife and family. Devoted husband of Jan, loved father and father in-law of Greg and Linda, Mark and Amelia (Milkie). Besotted grandfather to Beau, Joe, Javis, Tammy, Ardie, and Emily. Oldest child of the late Philip and Jean Williams. Loved brother and brother in-law of Derek and Ha, Pip and Simon, Chrissie, Tim, Susan and Selwyn, Paula and George, John and Jude, Patrick and Jayne. Peter loved and was loved by a very large extended family. Peter had many friends in the horse racing, bowling and Rotary communities. Our family would like to extend their appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to all the medical staff who supported Peter, particularly the staff at Hospice Southland in his final days. A service to celebrate Peter’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Friday 5 September at 10.00am, followed by a private cremation.
