Peacefully in the care of Peacehaven Rest Home on Wednesday 21 February 2024, aged 102 years.  Dearly loved husband of the late Gladys.  Loved and respected father and father-in-law of Darryll & Margie, Gregor & Helen, Julie & Colin Brown (PO Box 20, Manapouri), Mark & Judith, & Blair.  Adored Grandad Roy of Carley*, Jamie, Matthew, Lauren, Jeremy, Katie, Shelley, & Jenna and his great grandchildren.  A service to celebrate Roy’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Monday 26 February at 1.00pm.  If you wish to view the service via livestream, go to the Avenal Park website, obituaries page and click the link on Roy’s page.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Southland Charity Hospital would be appreciated and may be left at the service.  Messages to PO Box 2185, Wakatipu, Queenstown 9349.
