McKINNEL, Catherine Mary (Cath):

Peacefully with her loving family by her side on Monday, 21st July 2025, aged 91 years and in the care of BUPA Ascot.  Dearly loved wife of the late Peter.  Cherished Mum and mother-in-law of Ann and Taff Stringer, Chris and Mereana*, and Ross and Julie.  Adored Nana/Granny of Stacy, Justin and Kate, Deon and Cathy, Corey, Christopher and Anna, Aimee and Richard, Corey*, Pete, Daniel, Jess, Tahi, Jenna and of her great grandchildren and their families.  A service to celebrate Cath’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Friday, 25th July at 10 am, the service will conclude with the burial at the Eastern Cemetery.  If you wish to view the service via livestream, please go to the Avenal Park website, obituaries page and click the link on Cath’s page.  Cath’s family wish to thank the wonderful staff at BUPA Ascot for their loving care of Cath.  Messages to either 39 Lime Street, Invercargill 9812 or 12 Duncan Street, Invercargill 9810.
